The Benzon Symposia are international conferences on front line
research in medical, pharmaceutical and related sciences funded
by the Alfred Benzon Foundation.
Each Benzon Symposium is planned and organized by one or more
members of the board of trustee of the Foundation in collaboration
with scientists specialized in the topics of the specific symposia.
Each Benzon Symposium features 20-25 state of the art presentations
by invited scientists, shorter oral presentations selected by
the organizing committee, and poster presentations selected by
this committee from abstracts submitted by the participants. Normally,
one symposium is held every year.
There will be no
Benzon Symposium in 2011, but a Benzon Symposium is
being planned for 2012.
The symposia are held in Copenhagen. A maximum of 150 participants
can take part in each symposium.
